do you have any tips for improving on decorating rentries?

the best option is to create your own stash of refs imo. when i first began i had a private pinterest board of rentries i really liked and i began to study what made me like them. was it the gradients, the overlay, the way the text was done? id then try to take the one thing i liked the most, and try to implent it. NEVER copied all of it, but just one part i'd use as reference. (say, if i liked how people highlighted words, i used it in a rentry)
also understanding composition is so useful especially with metadata, how do people put their images, where, what items do they use, what is "too much and too little"?
id also def suggest you have a set of sites to visit for pixels, pngs, etc. this way you just search from that to find your inspo instead of having to start from scratch. personally i've used /fi and /pixelprism ONLY for a year now, because i curated both so well that i just need to use my stash instead of seeking for things. sure, if i want smth special or new ill go to tumblr or pinterest or search resource sites. but i dont really do it much now and i am pretty proud with my results!

Sorry but no! apollo is my very first claim ever and I'm very attached! I was going to offer possibly fully shaded art such as this https://files.catbox.moe/oolaeg.png but I get it if not! I have a few other urls listed in my "back to website" link tho I'm very picky with them
